If you have any trouble with the online booking process or you need to make any adjustments to your existing reservation, call Homewood Suites directly at (702) 450-1045. For new reservations, be sure to mention the corporate rate plan for Grand Canyon Whitewater. For existing reservations, have your confirmation number handy when you call.
If you choose to stay at an alternative hotel, please note that we are not able to pick up or drop off at locations other than Homewood Suites Henderson. Make the necessary arrangements to arrive there before the departure time listed in your trip information packet.
Once you’ve made your reservation, we ask that you update the lodging field on your online registration form or send us an email.
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
Homewood Suites Henderson is contracted with Lyft to provide shuttle services for their guests. They will hail a Lyft, which is available to and from the airport and anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel. This service is available from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Request a Lyft with the front desk staff by calling 702-450-1045.
Alternatively, you can take a cab, airport bus, or Uber/Lyft from Harry Reid International Airport to Homewood Suites. Follow signs in baggage claim to locate pick-up locations.
On the return of your trip, our included shuttle will go directly to Homewood Suites Henderson and then continue to the Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). Our shuttle must go to the airport immediately after dropping guests off at the hotel. If you have luggage stored at the hotel, you’ll need to factor in extra time to retrieve your bags and then arrange transportation to Harry Reid International Airport on your own.
PARKING
All river trip participants, with or without a reservation at Homewood Suites, may park their vehicle in the Homewood Suites lot for free while on the river trip. Be sure to inform the front desk and park where they advise.
We do not recommend storing luggage or valuables in your vehicle. Neither Grand Canyon Whitewater nor Homewood Suites will be responsible for damage to, or loss of, the vehicle, its contents, or luggage stored at Homewood Suites while on your trip.
LUGGAGE STORAGE
Homewood Suites will store your non-river luggage while on your trip for $10/bag for 1-4 nights and $20/bag for 5 or more nights. All bags should have name tags and locks and should be brought to the front desk before meeting time.
Marble Canyon, AZ
If you drive to Marble Canyon, you will need to arrive the day before your trip. Remember that Marble Canyon is located in a remote area of northern Arizona – about a 4.5-hour drive from both Phoenix and Las Vegas.
There are three hotel options located near Marble Canyon. Marble Canyon Lodge is next door to the Chevron station, where your trip orientation will take place. Lees Ferry Lodge and Cliff Dwellers are both less than 10 miles away. There are no transportation options in this remote location, and you are responsible for getting to the trip orientation on the morning of day 1 at the Marble Canyon Chevron.

LOCAL DINING OPTIONS
Marble Canyon Lodge and Cliff Dwellers both have full-service restaurants. Lees Ferry Lodge at Vermillion Cliffs has a beer/wine bar with no food service. Hours may vary, and it’s best to call and confirm options will be available the night you arrive. This is a very remote area, and you may need to plan to stop to eat on your drive and/or bring any necessary food for your stay.
PARKING
You may leave your vehicle near the Marble Canyon Lodge for $10 per night. This parking lot is managed solely by Marble Canyon Lodge. All guests must stop at the front desk to purchase a parking pass to display in their windshield and park where advised.
The nightly fee is required for all river trip guests, whether you stay at Marble Canyon Lodge or elsewhere. Call 800-726-1789 or see the front desk for more information.
LUGGAGE STORAGE
Marble Canyon Lodge does not offer storage of full-size luggage while on the river. However, they will hold smaller valuables, such as phones, keys, laptops, etc., if you don’t want to leave them in your car. Neither Grand Canyon Whitewater nor Marble Canyon Lodge will be responsible for damage or loss of the vehicle or its contents.
WHAT’S NEARBY
There is a gas station with a well-stocked convenience store where you can buy wine and beer for the trip, but liquor is not available in Marble Canyon, so plan accordingly. See above for local restaurant options. At 45 minutes away, Page, AZ, is the nearest town with complete services, including restaurants, grocery stores, and alternative lodging options if necessary.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
Many people who fly into Phoenix choose to use Groome Transportation from Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) to Flagstaff and Grand Canyon. You can request (in advance only) to be dropped off at the Courtyard Marriott for a small additional fee. If you are flying into Flagstaff (FLG), you’ll need to catch an Uber/Lyft or taxi to the Courtyard Marriott.
Alternate options include renting a vehicle, using Airport Shuttle of Phoenix which services any Arizona location, charter shuttles with Flagstaff Limousine in Northern Arizona, and FlixBus between Phoenix and Flagstaff.

Grand Canyon South Rim
Book ASAP! Reservations open one year in advance.
Grand Canyon South Rim lodge reservations can be made by calling Xanterra at (888) 297-2757 or online at www.grandcanyonlodges.com. Rooms at the South Rim can be difficult to obtain so please reserve early.
