Grand Canyon Whitewater has been busy these past few weeks! Not only did we launch our first white water raft trip of the 2012 season (an 11-day Hiker’s Special motorized trip), we also moved our office! Diamond River Adventures, the company GCW took over in 2011, was centered out of Page, Ariz. We always planned to move the office down to Flagstaff, Ariz., where the warehouse we share with our sister company, Arizona River Runners, is located. The first week of April, it became a reality!

We’ve also been planning some big things for our 2013 season. It might seem early to be working on next season already, when this season has just barely begun, but we know a lot of our passengers like to plan things far in advance. We now have our 2013 schedule and are able to book folks on many of our trips if you call us at 800-343-3121! We should have our website updated soon with those available launch dates, so you’ll be able to book online yourself, if you’re so inclined.

One of the biggest changes we’re planning for 2013 involves transportation and lodging. This season and in the 2011 season, most of our guests stayed either in Las Vegas, NV or in Marble Canyon, Ariz. Some of our 2013 trips will still involve transportation to/from Las Vegas, but we’d like to make transportation for many of our other trips a bit easier, so we’re planning to provide roundtrip transportation from Flagstaff.
