Oar-powered rafting trips allow you the luxury of spending more time in the Grand Canyon as you slowly meander downstream. Grand Canyon Whitewater’s oar-powered rafts are 18-feet long and seat 4-5 passengers and one guide. The guide is responsible for doing the rowing, passengers are able to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

The 13 Day starts at Lees Ferry and continues whitewater rafting 225 miles of the Colorado River to Diamond Creek. The 13 Day is great for those who wish to connect with the Canyon at a more leisurely pace, yet still experience the vastness of the Canyon. 8 DAY OAR W/ HIKE IN
The 8 Day Oar with Hike In is for those seeking maximum adventure. This Grand Canyon rafting trip begins with an 8-mile hike from the South Rim down to the Colorado River at river mile 89, where you’ll jump right into rafting 136 rapid-filled river miles. Along the way to Diamond Creek, you will camp along the river’s edge and have time to explore the many side canyon trails and waterfalls. Return to Flagstaff, AZ or the South Rim at the end of the trip is included.
6 DAY OAR W/ HIKE OUT
The amazing 6 Day Oar with Hike Out gives you time to explore the natural beauty of Marble Canyon and ends with a kick! You begin your Colorado River rafting journey at Lees Ferry and continue on to river mile 89, camping each evening along the river’s edge. Early on the sixth day, after days of unparalleled Grand Canyon splendor and adventure, you will begin your 8-mile hike out from the river to the South Rim.
