“Years ago when I was a child, my dad talked about always wanting to go white water rafting down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, which sparked my interest in someday doing it myself. Unfortunately, my dad never got to experience it firsthand, but there was a gentleman on the trip who reminded me a little of my dad, so it was as if he was there with me in spirit. Overall, it was one of the most memorable trips of a lifetime, and a great way to celebrate a milestone birthday! A special thanks to my sister, Lauren, for sacrificing a lot in order to make the trip with me.
Jeff, Ted, Riley and Casey did an outstanding job of making the vacation personal, enjoyable, and educational, right down to Riley’s “bedtime” stories around the proverbial campfire each night. They took the time out to explain the historical background of different rapids and other locations throughout the excursion, which added to the overall experience.”
