Part of our daily commitment is to protect and conserve the resources; was that concern evident and did you feel we educated others to do the same?: Absolutely!  The guides did a great job of impressing upon us the importance of conservation on both large and small scale.  They were inspiring, not judgmental.

Were the river guides friendly, helpful and concerned about your needs?: Beyond belief!  Troy in particular was so helpful when my friend sprained her ankle and therefore had to proceed slowly on our walks.  He made us feel that staying with us was the best option in the world for him, never making us feel that we were inconveniencing him.  Along the way, he provided interesting historical and geologic facts.

Were the river guides knowledgeable and willing to share their knowledge about the canyon?: Matt, Troy, Joann and EZ were a treasure trove of information about the canyon, the river, the native tribes, the geology, etc.  They really added to my enjoyment of the trip.

If you could have the guides improve in any area, what would it be?: I think they were all fabulous and beyond improvement!!!!!!!!!!!!!   They were well over the top of any expectation that I had of them.

Did you feel the equipment and rafts were adequate and suited your needs?: Yes, I felt safe and that the equipment was satisfactory and that the guides were well aware of how to troubleshoot any problems that should arise

What was your favorite meal?:   The salmon was wonderful.  However, all of the food was great, and well prepared

Did you feel the food on your trip was nutritional and presented in a pleasing manner?: Yes, it all looked lovely and the set up was attractive.  It tasted great and there were always plenty of fruits and vegetables.

Would you recommend this trip to a friend?: Absolutely!!  I am trying to figure out a way to get my grown children to come!

Additional Comments?  I cannot say enough good things about Matt, Troy, Joann and EZ.  They were so pleasant, caring (both about the passengers and the canyon), informative and just generally nice wonderful people.  They helped a group of strangers join together as friends, and made this trip a special life event.
