I was just at Marble Canyon, AZ this weekend for a great little kayak trip down the Colorado River from Glen Canyon to Lees Ferry with Hidden Canyon Kayak. While there, I ran into several Grand Canyon Whitewater passengers who had just flown back to Marble Canyon, Arizona after their rafting trip with our company. I was so excited to hear their excitement and their stories of the white water raft trip. I talked to one woman who came with her sister and both of their sons. The sons were 18 and 9. The mother of the 18 year old explained to me how her son was a typical "city boy" but that this trip had changed his life. He now wanted to come and get a job on the river next summer!
