“The river trip was planned so I could bring my 15 & 18 year old boys. I had done the trip in 2001 and from that point on was planning on taking the boys. The trip had other kids about the same age which was fun for the guys. But it also was great to share and spend the quality time with my boys. They both said they want to go again and maybe, just maybe they will take their kids and their grandfather on a future river trip. Hermit and Lava were the best ever and it was great to be able to sit between my boys thru both. The food was spectacular, only to be overshadowed by the Grand scenery and great people. The hikes to Deer Creek and Havasu were great. Both boys were spellbound and could only say “oh my gosh” when they saw the blue water mixing with the brown of the Colorado River. Oh… and fishing was not too shabby. Jason, John and Sarah were great guides!”
