"I loved every minute of the trip. The canyon was more beautiful and magical than I could have ever imagined. The guides were great. Brock: an amazing trip leader, loved the day hikes and the general flow of things. Chris S.: for the many (many) laughs. Chris L.: for the lovely guitar music and for bringing us hand-caught salmon from Alaska! Jason: for getting me forever hooked on rowing and becoming a river guide. Joe: for grillin a damn good steak. Grant: for skipping his lunch to fix my poor, poor broken river shoe. Josh: for being the hardest working swamper ever. I will never forget swimming in Redwall Cavern, going down the rapids in the Little Colorado, or finally feeling clean after bathing in the horizontal waterfall (yes, horizontal waterfall) of Clear Creek. The Grand Canyon will forever change me. Counting down the months (and weeks) until I can do the second half."
