I appreciated the team’s ‘shepherding.’ Explanations were made of the difficulties on the hikes and patience was practiced in ensuring that each person traversed potentially dangerous areas without injury. There was a young boy on the trip who is losing his vision, already his central vision. The crew were thoughtful of him, chatting with him, helping him along, sometimes guiding him step by step. I was impressed.
The crew were all very friendly, helpful, vigilant, kind, courteous, entertaining and knowledgeable. They were even will to share stories with us in the evenings after their long day working and rafting in the Arizona heat – I thought they were just great.”
