The National Parks: America’s Best Idea series by Ken Burns quickly gained popularity. We definitely recommend watching it. In particular, one of my favorite little parts has to do with an incredibly intriguing lost honeymoon couple in Grand Canyon. You probably heard about the honeymooners on your Colorado River tour and we have talked about Glen and Bessie Hyde, in a previous blog post but they are just too dang interesting to be left alone for long!

It tells the story of the fateful journey of Glen and Bessie Hyde as they braved the Colorado River, expecting Bessie to be the first woman to raft through the Grand Canyon!
