“The [Grand Canyon Whitewater] guides were great. They were very ecologically friendly. We had a great group of people as well. Matt and Easy were great fun. Lots of stories. Jason and James were also great at camp. I ended up riding with Matt the whole trip. I learned a great deal on the geology of the Canyon. Really enjoyed the lessons. I would have liked more info on the hike out. Vague on where to meet and some people did not bring enough water with them from the boat. They didn’t have the capacity with them. Guides were very clear to fill every bottle, so not really the guides’ fault. There should have been a gear check before leaving civilization, or have extra water bottles on board. Overall a great trip. Do not mean to sound negative with my comments. You do not need to improve the things you do well – which are many. I have a friend who is already planning to take his family of 5 with you guys next summer based on what I was telling him.
I am an adventurer and would love to go through the rapids in a dory. My wife and friends chose the power route, which was fun.”
