"River guide, Chris, invited our children to the back of the raft and taught them a few things about driving the raft plus he let them try driving. They really enjoyed that, and Chris was very patient; he has a great attitude.
We also really enjoyed the side canyon hikes like Elves Chasm, Deer Creek Falls (the Patio) and Havasu Creek – just incredible!! WOW!
My children said to add: "Lava Falls was fun in the front of the boat!"
We can’t say enough good things about the river guides. They were very friendly and helpful. Anytime we asked for anything on the trip, the guides got it quickly and with great attitudes, never making us feel like it was an inconvenience. As river guide, Matt, said on our last night (to the group), we were a very mixed group (and he brought it up to comment on how we meshed together from the start), but we also were impressed how the river guides treated everyone equally even though we were such a diverse group. They have great people skills. They thanked us endlessly for coming with Grand Canyon Whitewater, but we want to thank them endlessly for giving us this great opportunity to experience the Canyon in this way. Thanks to all of you behind the scenes, too! :)"
