There are many wonderful aspects to a Grand Canyon River Tour that you don’t anticipate. One of my most favorite activities is finding the gorgeous, narrow slot canyons that run perpendicular to the Colorado River. The connection with nature and the natural quiet in the side canyons is something incredible- hard to put into words. Here is what one passenger thought of Blacktail Canyon…
"Sharing an awesome space and time with a crew that exuded energy, optimism and a deep profound respect for the Canyon and its history, geology and a bit of philosophy with humor and laughter. And music! Everyone really liked it when Ted and Chris played their guitars and sang in a canyon that just had a great re-verb and enhanced their sound. It was a most ‘Zen’ moment. We all laid down on rocks looking up at the sky through the Canyon walls – someone was moved to dance, others meditated. It was a spiritual connection. Thank you for a fun and memorable week."
