There are a lot of great reads relating to Grand Canyon raft trips. One of our boatmen’s faves is “There’s This River,” a collection of Grand Canyon boatman stories edited by Christa Sadler.
Many Grand Canyon Whitewater boatmen like to read some of these short stories while on-river. There are funny stories of river passengers and guides, there are sweet stories of Canyon magic, goofy stories about wildlife and real stories about dramatic river trips way back when. Some of the ARR/GCW crew even pop up in stories in this book!
